A Time For Work And A Time For Play
WORLD WIDE WEB, Thursday May 21, 2015 7PM Central – We can all agree that owning and riding a motorcycle is a lifestyle. It is a lifestyle that has many different variations. Some people ride because it is freeing and they love the open road. Others ride because they love to customize their bikes. Two things that are common to all motorcyclists is that we all love to show off our bikes and we are all at risk when we ride.
Tonight on Wide Open Radio, we talk with Nate Hudson who has teamed up with Allstate Insurance on a mission to make the roads a safer place for motorcyclists. On May 12th 2015, Allstate launched the first-ever “Ride for Awareness”. Hudson has over 20 years of riding experience, and is also co-owner of the British-American Motorcycle Club, a service shop and riding club with an emphasis on vintage and custom bikes. Allstate will be sending Nate Hudson to all 50 state capitols in 111 days – a trip that will cover more than 17,000 miles! Hudson will be making the journey on a 2015 Indian Roadmaster customized for Allstate. The bike is equipped for long-distance riding and has a strong engine capable of making the 17,000 mile trek. Tune in to the show to find out what Nate and Allstate will be proposing to the DMVs in their effort to improve awareness and decrease motorcycle accidents.
Also, Craig Collins, GM of Mountain Creek Harley Davidson and the mastermind behind the dealership’s custom shop will be joining us to tell about a huge bagger show he is putting on at the Dalton Georgia Harley dealership this weekend. Confirmed guests include Jessie Jurrens of Legend Suspension, Rikki Battistini of Battistinis Custom Cycles, Brian Klock of Klock Works and Drag Specialties. This show, scheduled for Saturday May 23 is part of the dealership’s 12th Anniversary party and should be a huge hit! Wide Open Radio host, Courtney Lambert is especially excited to help promote this show because it is her hometown Harley dealer. $10,000 in cash & prizes will be given out so you don’t want to miss out!
Dave Withrow and Tony Frey from American Bagger Magazine and Urban Bagger Magazine will also join the show to talk about a custom bike they featured, built by Craig Collins at Mountain Creek Harley Davidson. We will discuss what listeners can expect to see in the upcoming issues of the two hottest bagger magazines in the industry.
Wide Open Radio first went On-Air in 2010 and brings listeners casual, real motorcycle industry news in a very unique fashion. Host: Courtney Lambert discusses all of the major motorcycle events, new product releases, custom motorcycle shows – you name it and you’ll probably hear about it on the show. The show is definitely entertaining and informative. Listeners can expect to hear real talk about what really happens inside the tight-knit custom motorcycle industry.
