Bullying Is An Epidemic – Here’s How You Can Make A Difference

HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE WATCHED THIS VIDEO? Bullying happens EVERY day. In EVERY school and in THOUSANDS of households, public places and most of all – online. Kids are KILLING themselves because they feel so isolated and alone. (Need me to make it more real for you? How about this statistic: Each day in our nation, there are an average of over 3,470 attempts by young people grades 9-12. This number doesn’t even include the hundreds of attempts by middle school kids EVERY DAY.) Some of these kids are made fun of at school, then again on the bus, then – by their parents or siblings at home. Can you imagine being so young and feeling that you have NOBODY on your side?   Bullying is a very REAL problem and it causes very long-term effects in almost all cases.   PLEASE TALK TO YOUR KIDS. Explain to them how hurtful their words and actions can be – and most importantly, set good examples for them.   Y’all know Kory and I participate in the ride to Sturgis every year, which benefits 3 different children’s charities – one of these is Bikers Against Bullies USA. LIVE Video Tour of Strokers Dallas

I made plans to go last June and unfortunately my flight was cancelled, causing me to miss my opportunity. So when I learned that I was heading to Texas again, I called Rick up immediately and asked if I could stop by. He said yes! Then he called me back and said he forgot he was hosting a charity golf tournament that day so he wouldn’t be able to meet me. Bummer. But I didn’t let that stop me. I was bound and determined to make it to the holy grail of all things tie dyed and groovy! CLICK HERE TO SEE THE VIDEO When I showed up, Rick’s wife Sue welcomed me with open arms. I honestly didn’t expect any less – I knew if she is married to Rick, she is “good people”. Rick has been a great friend of mine for a few years now and I think the world of him. Not only is he an amazing business role model and friend, but he is just a really good person and I admire that. Sue led me around the crazy maze of Strokers before I ventured off on my own to give all of you a behind the scenes tour of the Strokers compound. Along the way I ran into Gary who decided to show us around the rest of the way. He told me a lot of stories and explained about what we were...
