Bullying Is An Epidemic – Here’s How You Can Make A Difference

HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE WATCHED THIS VIDEO? Bullying happens EVERY day. In EVERY school and in THOUSANDS of households, public places and most of all – online. Kids are KILLING themselves because they feel so isolated and alone. (Need me to make it more real for you? How about this statistic: Each day in our nation, there are an average of over 3,470 attempts by young people grades 9-12. This number doesn’t even include the hundreds of attempts by middle school kids EVERY DAY.) Some of these kids are made fun of at school, then again on the bus, then – by their parents or siblings at home. Can you imagine being so young and feeling that you have NOBODY on your side?   Bullying is a very REAL problem and it causes very long-term effects in almost all cases.   PLEASE TALK TO YOUR KIDS. Explain to them how hurtful their words and actions can be – and most importantly, set good examples for them.   Y’all know Kory and I participate in the ride to Sturgis every year, which benefits 3 different children’s charities – one of these is Bikers Against Bullies USA​.
